Payment Before Scheduling A Misdemeanor Trial

$250.00

This payment is made when a District Court misdemeanor case is set for a jury trial. This payment is due once it is decided that demanding a jury trial is the best course of action in your case and you agree that you want to demand a jury trial. If this payment is not made, then a plea must be taken on an open offer, you may demand a bench trial, you may schedule an open plea, or you may elect for Jay to withdraw from your case. This is not a retainer and is non-refundable once the jury trial is scheduled with the court, even if a plea agreement or alternative plea and sentence are reached after scheduling the jury trial with the court.
